About the Digital Inclusion Hub

The Digital Inclusion Hub is a community-based learning space designed to improve digital access, skills, and confidence for people across the North Burnett region.

The Hub brings together funding support from FRRR, digital tools designed by the Rural Connect Foundation, and local community facilitation. It exists to make digital learning welcoming and achievable for people at every level—from first-time users through to those ready to build websites, run basic systems, or make informed hardware and software decisions.

Our purpose

What the Hub is designed to do

The Hub focuses on confidence, connection, and practical skills—so people in and around Mount Perry can participate fully in an increasingly digital world.

Build digital confidence

Help people feel comfortable asking questions, trying new tools, and making informed choices about technology.

Reduce isolation

Create a social, community-based setting where learning happens alongside neighbours and friends.

Improve access to services

Support people to access essential online services, education, and information that may be difficult to reach otherwise.

Support local education and business

Provide practical support to students, jobseekers, and small business owners using digital tools.

Provide a safe learning space

Offer a welcoming venue where there is no pressure to keep up and no such thing as a silly question.

Strengthen the region

Contribute to a more connected North Burnett by improving digital confidence across the community.
